Hotswap userlevel Click configuration

Hi,

I’ve read http://read.cs.ucla.edu/click/docs/click-install and understand
that it’s possible to install new configuration into kernel without
restarting Click. Is it possible to do so with userlevel Click?

Thanks,
Chang

Hi,

I asked the same question not so long ago. It turns out it's possible
with the hotconfig handler. I did it by starting the userlevel driver
with -R (allow-reconfigure) and -p [PORT] (listen on PORT) parameters.
Then you need to call the hotconfig handler via sockets on the PORT port.

Barna
