Installing falcon 0.2.0b1

Installing falcon 0.2.0b1

Hi,

When I perform a fresh install of falcon using pip, it only fetches
version 0.1.10. In order to install the latest version 0.2.0b1, I need
to pip install falcon==0.2.0b1. Should this be reported as an issue? Thanks.

Regards,
Kenneth

I was thinking that it may helpful to update the docs and the README to
let people know how they can get the beta. Do you think that would help?
It will probably take a few more weeks before the final release of 0.2 is
out.

I think having instructions in docs and README on getting betas will be
fine. Thanks.

OK, thanks for the feedback. I will add some notes to the docs and README.

I use tox to run my test suite and it automatically calls pip with --pre, so
you automatically get pre-release packages. Some folks might not like that as
a general rule. This is discussed in more detail in this thread:

http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.testing.general/6072

It turns out this is a handy default for using falcon betas.
