Hi,

I'd like to import the issues from
https://github.com/katastrophie/frab/issues

Has anyone some experience with import scripts like

https://github.com/collective/collective.developermanual/blob/master/gh-issues-import.py

yes, I do. The main problem is, that github's API will not allow you to
create issues as another user.

This, of course, makes a lot of sense, but is a problem if you want to
import issues.

Basically it boils down to this: A script will help you import the text
stored in issues. And that is it. The script above will not even import
comments. But even if it would, you would lose the association of
issues and comments to users and all watchers on an issue.

I would not recommend it, but feel free to try it with a new, empty
repository and judge for yourself.

Regards

David

Thanks for your input, I feared it would be that bad. I'll just have to
live with the split then, until they are all closed:)
