After looking at a bunch of the forums out there I realized that there's
enough gear in Fret War already to do more consistent forums.

So I implemented them:

Feedback welcome, but should be a good start.

Assuming that's central plumbing to the incoming mail handler for the
whole site, right? ... too much work to create a new account and bogus
submission to see if that flaw is in the submission chain too ...

Yep, the actual submission text is stored unaltered, and then displayed
(generated to disk really) with either markdown or pottymouth.
Everything a dirty hippy like you can submit gets run through
pottymouth.  Things I can post go through markdown.
