Houston iPhone Dev Meetup + NSCoder Night

Houston iPhone Dev Meetup + NSCoder Night

Hey guys,

Just a heads up if you haven't already, I'd recommend joining the
Houston iPhone Dev Meetup Group:

http://www.meetup.com/Houston-iPhone-Developers-Meetup/

That way you can get emails about the meet ups that we have (the next
one is April 17) and they also have an email list (and forums) for
questions. That's also where I send out information about the Houston
NSCoder Nights (I'll cross post over here too). Also, NSCoder Night
is an international thing with different meetings all over the place.
All of the meetings are posted here:

http://nscodernight.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

That way whenever you're traveling, you might still have a NSCoder
Night you can hit up. When you're traveling, you can also look up
CocoaHead meet ups, which are basically equivalent to our iPhone Dev
Meetup, but cover both Mac and iOS topics:

http://www.cocoaheads.org/

I'm not sure why they did the iPhone Dev Meetup instead of a
CocoaHeads branch, but maybe someday they'll convert it into one.

Cheers,

Travis

I'm undecided whether I'm going to go to the talk tomorrow, or just go to
Te and pretend it's NSCoder Night. :)

I spent a lot of last weekend redoing pretty much everything I had written
so far, in Cocos2d.

If I went to Te, would anyone else want to go?

You're in luck b/c the talk is until April 17 (next week). So, yes,
there will be a regular NSCoder Night tomorrow. - T
