Problem with resque-status Plugin

Problem with resque-status Plugin

Hi,
I am new to ruby, so it may be a false alarm but, I was trying out resque
and resque-status for a few days. It was all working fine, but since I have
upgraded resque to version 1.6.1 (and 1.7.0), the resque status plugin is
not working. It seems from the error log that the register method in
Resque::Server is missing (Error Long pasted below). I would like to know
that if it has been removed from the new version or is there some problem on
my side. Any help is welcome.

Regards,
Devdatta

Resque::Server has not been touched. The strange thing is that
Resque::Server is a *Class*, not a Module (which your error says it
is).

Do you have any other plugins loaded, or are you by chance defining
Resque::Server in your app?

Apparently, I hadn't included resque in environment.rb (config.gem). I added
config.gem 'resque' line in environment.rb and it started working again. But
I still confused what exactly happened, as it was working without config.gem
prior to the update.

Thanks for the help.
