Hi Sydjs & Happy New Year,

Sorry to those who hate spam from people hiring on the list.

Java knowledge is a plus (don't kill me for it being in the job
description). But mostly we want someone who's passionate about the
web and Javascript and has a year or two experience to back it up.

Full job description (and application options) on linkedin
http://tinyurl.com/aoq37zr
OR send me or justinc@buildingiq.com an email with your CV. Mention
you're a sysjs
member in the application.

Bonus points from me if you can tick any of the following:
You have experience doing data visualisation
You've done some great mobile UI work
You demonstrate complex dynamic form UI
You've written unit tests for Javascript

Geoff

Hi,

I am a JAVA/JavaScript developer working on web-based enterprise software
solutions. In the course of my career I have always been a JavaScript
enthusiast and a regular SydJS attendee. As part of creating web apps, I
have used JavaScript in the front-end, mostly Jquery and Prototype, in the
past but since the advent of node.js, I have taken to JavaScript heavily,
using it for end-to-end development.

I am in the process of building an Agile Project Management Tool, which has
a very rich UI with new HTML5 and CSS features like Canvas and other UX
goodies like drag-drop and in-place editing with a Single-Page
architecture. If given an opportunity I can demo it, so you can assess me,
since I cannot provide a portfolio of UI projects.

I am in the process of updating my resume with this project and will send
it within a couple of days.

Thanks and Regards,
Souvik
