SydJS February meet-up

SydJS February meet-up

From:
Craig Sharkie
Date:

Atlassian Developer Showcase

For close to three years, Atlassian have sponsored SydJS and shown us
legendary support.

Along the way their own Developer team has benefited from SydJS as well -
some of their team were SydJS members who made the jump across.

Our February meeting will showcase some of the Atlassian team and give us a
glimpse at how Australia's biggest home-grown software company writes some
of the baddest code you'll find.

______________________________________________________________________________

On the night you can look forward to:

Alex Dickson: Building debugger/disassembler in JavaScript

Chris Darroch: JavaScript tips and tricks from the front-line

Adam Ahmed: Real world Node.JS drones

And if that weren't enough there'll also be appearances from Gilmore
Davidson and Steve Haffenden.

And, of course ... more!

______________________________________________________________________________

RSVP NOW at http://tixi.com.au/sydjs
______________________________________________________________________________

Join us at 6:00PM on February 20 to be part of the action!

Atlassian are hosting at their BRAND NEW head office at 341 George Street.
Now that's legendary support! Enter via the side door in Wynyard Street :)

Remember it's a free event, but if you're keen to sponsor we're keen to
listen.

Follow us @SydJS for more details or visit our site for more details

A little birdie has told us that a high-profile hardware startup in Sydney
is looking for a couple more Node.JS developers to work on some seriously
cool stuff. If you are interested you might want to get in early.

Use your NINJA skills to unBLOCK just who that might be.

Hey Craig,

I was wondering how a random guy like me could get an opportunity to
address fellow developers at SydJS and get on the list of talkers?

Thanks,
Nikolay

Getting on the speaker list is pretty straight forward - just come see me
at the next meeting and tell me about our topic and how long you'd like to
talk for.

Pretty easy, I hope :)

Is there any reason why we must all get these mindless emails? Maybe only
involve us all when there's something relevant to be conveyed.

Thanks

This is a mailing list. You get emails. Some of which you will not want to
read.

Enable shortcuts in gmail and hit m on conversations you no longer want to
see.

Jared.
