how to install

Hi Guys,

I’m a zfs, and to a large degree linux noob, struggling to understand the
install and config process for zfsnap. I can see i could manually copy the
files to relevant directories on my linux system, but shouldn’t there be
an install script of some sort?

I really appreciate any suggestions, I’ve not been able to find anything
in the readme or github.

many thanks

cheers
Abe

Yeah the documentation is a bit lacking, though the install is pretty
straightforward.

All you need is a copy of the repository
git clone https://github.com/zfsnap/zfsnap.git /usr/local/src/zfsnap

and then put a link to the script in your path
ln -s /usr/local/src/zfsnap/sbin/zfsnap.sh /usr/local/sbin/zfsnap

I'll try to write some more docs one of these days...
